Laser Hair Removal
Laser hair removal has been around since 1997, when it was discovered that patients undergoing laser treatment for tattoos, port wine stains, pigmented lesions etc, had stunted or no hair growth in the treated area.
It is a non-invasive and extremely effective therapy which can significantly reduce the growth of unwanted hair. Methods such as shaving, waxing and chemical removal all have significant limitations and are not always appropriate or effective.
The Polaris 1064 Long Pulsed Nd:Yag Laser is used at the Clinic for safe and successful hair removal on all skin types: Fitzpatrick scale I-VI. In fact for III and VI skin types it is the only choice for hair removal without problems.
